One of my faves for filter!

This was one of the first beans I ordered when I started exploring pourover coffee and it was honestly what got me hooked. Brewed using the the Tetsu Kasuya 4:6 method highlighted its sweetness with lingering aftertaste of the molasses. The mouthfeel is smooth with notes of dried fruits giving it a different character. Will have to try this as an espresso roast as well next time!

Surprisingly sweet and with a nice finish

Tried the Colombia Cauca 2414 and i do prefer this 2415 better. It took a lot less dialing in and notes are more evident. Gonna put this as one of my go-to beans moving forward. Best value for a sweet light roast for me and will probably start getting 1kg bags soon for the value. Just need good enough storage.

Honey Processed

It’s close to washed coffee but I think there’s just mild acidity on it, which I like. The clarity and hint of citrus is just perfect for me. Also good when mixing with Brazil Cerrado or any Guatemala.

Very Enjoyable Coffee!!

from a newbie point of view, this is one of my "I like" coffee and would buy a 200g/250g pack in the future.

I used a Hario Switch to brew this coffee.. 90"C water, 200g, 27 clicks on the Comandante Grinder.

Poured into the Switch brewer straight 300g, let it sit for 1:50 minutes, stir & let it loose...

Smelled very good, floral.. Milder side of things compared to the Brazilian coffee which I'm getting used to.

This coffee is smooth, and easy to like.. Not as full bodied but not bitter especially after cooling it down for a few minutes.

Highly recommended & one of the coffee I'll shortlist to buy in the near future.

Espresso This I dare ya! [4.5/5]

Why: Killenso Natural is out of stock, experimentation.

No kidding, I really did make this as an Espresso. It is quite mild and light, not as acidic and tolerant of an aggressive, finely ground extraction as far as filter roasts go. Don't expect tiger stripes. (Disclaimer: You need good equipment to do this.) Very notable is the Orange & Peach flavor notes with a sweet but mild finish.

Problems encountered while calibrating : blending of flavors(tradeoff) , bitterness(easily resolved), and a large headspace between the grouphead and the puck (It's a dense bean) causing a bit more unreliable extraction.

Weird

Very interesting cup. You can definitely taste the orange flavor notes, however it's so prominent that it starts to turn bitter to an extent. I feel like this is also due to the citrus flavor notes. I recommend either a Kalita or a Origami for this.

Worth Every Penny

The flavor is well defined. The fruity flavor really comes out well.

Packaging is superb. They have a small zipper on the inside that you can use when you store the beans.

Competition coffee that I wouldn't mind having daily

Clean, sweet, with no unpleasant bitterness. The aroma is reminiscent of ripe mangoes (dominant), some caramel, and Welch Sparkling White Grape Juice. The flavor is not exactly out-of-this-world complex, but for someone who wants to get into drinking fruity coffees black, this is an excellent introduction. I need more of this origin for daily brews. Will definitely order again.

Magical ✨

This is my very first bag of Gesha beans! I’m a sucker for anything earl grey and with floral notes so this was so worth it! The taste is very delicious and almost elegant! Just a very good experience tasting this magical beans!
