Kenya Kii Coffee Factory

One of the results of Kenya’s long coffee journey is nestled at the foot of Mt. Kenya— the Kii Factory. The factory, or washing station, was constructed in 1995 and is owned by the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS). Big on sustainability, its placement near the Kii River prompts it to work in harmony with it. 

This coffee was washed with the fresh waters of the Kii River.
