1
Set your grinder to medium-fine and start grinding.
Heat your water up to 92°C.
2
Put the filter in the filter cap and preheat it. Use either 1 or 2 filters, depending on your preference. Also, take this time to preheat your mug.
Tips: Using 2 filters often results in a cleaner and smoother taste experience.
3
Set up your Aeropress with the plunger positioned around 1cm away from coming off at the entry point. Place your Aeropress upside down on the scale and tare it.
4
Put the coffee grounds into the chamber and shake the Aeropress to evenly distribute the grounds before brewing.
5
Tare your scale, start your timer.
Pour your hot water into the chamber up to 200g in 10 seconds.
6
Take your stirrer and agitate the brew for up to the 30 second mark on your timer.
7
At 1:00 minute, insert the filter cap, gently shake it and turn your Aeropress upside down into your mug. Ensure that the mug is not placed on the scale.
8
Slowly plunge for 30 seconds until you hear a hissing sound. Total brew should be about 1:30 minute.
Remove your Aeropress, breathe in the aroma, and enjoy!
