Philippines Junissa Doceros Inhandig Tribal MPC Sweet Coffee Washed RCQC Top 2

The woman-led Inhanding Tribal Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ITMPC) started with farming coffee only for small-scale consumption. Everything changed after it won the Kape Pilipino Green Coffee Quality Competition in 2017 when they learned the potential of their coffee. Despite this huge feat, Inhandig remains connected to their indigenous beliefs and incorporates them in their farming practices.

Junissa Doceros is a part of the Inhandig Tribal MPC, and for this year’s Regional Coffee Quality Competition (RCQC), she placed second in the Arabica category with a cup score of 82.17.

This washed sweet coffee exhibits flavors of mandarin orange and jasmine.
