This exceptional Grade 1 washed Ethiopian coffee comes from the renowned Worka Nenke Washing Station in Gedeb, located on the eastern edge of the Gedeo plateau in Southern Ethiopia. The station serves a community of smallholder producers in the Nenke area, where coffee is grown as a family crop on small gardens of less than one hectare.

Cultivated at elevations between 1,983 and 2,200 meters above sea level, this coffee benefits from the high altitude and ideal growing conditions that make the Yirgacheffe region famous worldwide. The Ethiopian Heirloom varietal thrives in this environment, producing beans of exceptional quality and complexity.

The coffee undergoes a fully washed process and is carefully dried on raised beds, resulting in a clean, bright cup that showcases the distinctive characteristics of the region. This meticulous processing method brings out the coffee's vibrant floral and citrus qualities.
