Ethiopia Lalesa

Lalessa Gedeb is a fairly new mill in Yirgacheffe, set up in 2023. The farm has been making great change in the region for working together with smallholder farmers. These farmers are recognized for not using fertilizers and pesticides but still grow some of the best coffees in the country. In fact, coffees in the region are grown on small lots, interplanted with other subsistence crops.

This coffee was harvested at 1900-2400 MASL and then dried inside the fruit, making its flavor profile less predictable and deeper.
