This coffee is a competition-grade micro-lot from Eugene "Don Gene" Altieri's highland estate in Boquete, Chiriquí. Grown at 2,200 meters above sea level in volcanic soil, this Typica underwent controlled washed processing to achieve exceptional clarity and balance.
The Altieri Family combines precision agriculture with meticulous post-harvest control, selectively hand-picking only fully ripe cherries. They take fermentation seriously, closely monitoring it, followed then by slow drying to preserve sweetness and structure.
