Colombia Las Acacias Ombligo Natural

This coffee was grown at 1700 MASL in Las Acacias, Huila, Colombia. Farm owner Monica Rodriguez Rojas’ experimental approach with the process as well as the varietals she grows in her farm has led her to Ombligon.

“Ombligon” is the Spanish term for “belly button”, which makes it the perfect name for this coffee’s unique shape. Its exact origins are still unknown but it has been established that it currently only grows in Huila. When used for competitions, Ombligon’s processing techniques are much stricter and more precise.
