one of the best robustas i've ever tasted
i haven't had fine robusta in quite a while, so it's nice that the good cup offered this winning lot locally. the beans have a rather fermented scent, and the bloom gave of a slightly nutty aroma. the resulting cup is a bit winey, sweet and balanced, with black cherry/dark chocolate notes - but with a tinge of jackfruit aftertaste. the cup then ends with a syrupy finish which lingers long (which again, doesn't go full bitter). really nice and as far as robustas go, this is probably one of the best one i've tried.
