Panama Carmen Gesha Natural

Carmen Gesha Natural comes from one of the most important coffee growing regions in Panama, the Volcan Valley. Home of Catuai, Caturra, Typica and Gesha varietals, Carmen Estate is perfectly situated at the valley, with its elevation, dense vegetation, volcanic soil, and diverse microclimates, guaranteeing the ideal coffee growing conditions—cool, frost-free nights and dry, sunny days. At 1900 MASL, the farm produces about 1,200 bags of green coffee annually, from December through March. The coffee is handpicked by the Ngobes, the indigenous people of Panama.

Carmen Estate cultivates strict agricultural and environmental standards. Certified by the Rainforest Alliance, the farm homes native trees that naturally shade the growing coffee.
