Panama Flying Pumas
Originating from the Volcan region of Panama, Flying Pumas is a specialty coffee cultivated at 1,650-2,-200 meters above sea level by a small team together with the local Ngobe-Bugle community, Panama’s indigenous people that play a huge role in the country’s coffee culture. They help plant, prune, fertilize, and harvest the coffee that turns into cups that tell a story. The coffee's complex flavors is due to the innovative process it goes through—from solar drying to controlled warehouse stabilization—enhancing both its aroma and flavor profile.
Flying Pumas is located near La Amistad International Park, home to wild animals and rich flora and fauna. With the already given ideal coffee growing conditions, the farm keeps in harmony with the land they grow coffees in and has planted native trees for natural shade, soil enrichment and, very importantly, promoting biodiversity.
