Ethiopia Sidamo

Grown by a producer that's won Ethiopia's Cup of Excellence three years running, a competition that ranks the country's best lots each harvest.

Daye Bensa was founded in 1996 by Asefa Dukamo and works with smallholder farmers across the Sidamo region, using both washed and natural processing to bring out the bright acidity washing produces alongside the deeper sweetness natural drying adds.

Expect red apple, lemon, caramel, and black tea, layered rather than one-note.
