SL28 is a varietal with roots in Kenya — originally developed by Scott Laboratories in the 1930s and long revered for its vibrant acidity and complex fruit character. Finding it growing in the highlands of Quindio, Colombia, at 1,700 to 2000 meters above sea level, makes this lot from Jardines del Eden something genuinely special. 

Processed naturally, the cup reveals a quiet, layered depth: apple, longan, and plum — fresh and orchard-bright on the front, with a darker, stone-fruit sweetness that lingers. It's the kind of coffee that rewards slowing down, where each sip reveals something a little different.
